YogaWorks
Role: Senior Graphic Designer
Inspired to create a community where everyone is welcomed to practice yoga, the first YogaWorks studio opened in 1987 in Santa Monica, CA. Since then, they’ve expanded their reach globally with digital live and on-demand classes.
Due to the pandemic YogaWorks pivoted from physical, in-person studios to an online-only yoga teaching service. This shift resulted in a re-brand to refresh and transition YogaWorks into the digital space. I led a team of two designers and in collaboration with the marketing team applied the new brand guidelines ensuring brand consistency with the goal of reaching a new audience.
Growing the YogaWorks Community
In collaboration with the social media manager and marketing team I organized and edited the creative to have a cohesive visual tone that aligned with the new branding and visual storytelling.
Email Marketing
I developed visual patterns for YogaWorks’ emails. The art direction I introduced highlights movement by playing with the relationship between typography and the body form.
In App Experience
From the onboarding screens to the photography used for the tiles, the design team and I worked to use imagery that showcased YogaWorks’ range.
