YogaWorks
Role: Senior Graphic Designer
Responsibilities: Due to the pandemic YogaWorks pivoted from physical, in-person studios to an online-only yoga teaching service. This shift resulted in a re-brand to refresh and transition YogaWorks into the digital space. I led a team of two designers and we collaborated with the marketing team to apply the new brand guidelines to reach a new audience.
Founders, Maty Ezraty, Chuck Miller, and Alan Finger, believed in yoga’s power to change lives. In 1987, inspired to create a community where everyone was welcome to practice yoga, they opened the first YogaWorks studio in Santa Monica, CA. Since then, they’ve expanded their reach globally with digital live and on-demand classes.
Growing the YogaWorks Community
In collaboration with the social media manager I organized and edited images to have a cohesive visual tone that aligned with the new branding in addition to brainstorming creative for giveaways, stories, and posts.
In App Experience
From the onboarding screens to the photography used for the tiles, the design team and I worked to use imagery that showcased YogaWorks’ range.
Email Marketing
I developed visual patterns for YogaWorks’ emails. The art direction I introduced highlights movement by playing with the relationship between typography and the body form.
