Shoebox, the “scrappy rebellious” greeting card line of Hallmark Cards, Inc., was preparing to launch a print-on-demand mobile app.

My objective was to design onboarding screens that communicated the app’s core value proposition while maintaining Shoebox’s visual identity and personality.

I explored various situations that could translate “any occasion”,  “anytime, anywhere”, and ways to show postage included. The exploration led to the development of visuals that could be used throughout the app experience such as custom icons and loading screens.
